FEES & CHARGES

Our Fees & Charges

Clear pricing from the start of your matter — so you know what to expect before we begin.

TRANSPARENT PRICING

Fees you can understandbefore we start work

We at Apex Solicitors ensure that all our charges and fees are clear and transparent from the beginning of and throughout the lifespan of a matter. Our fees vary depending on the experience and seniority of the solicitors handling the matter and the complexity of the matter.

Unless stated, all fees relate to one application or matter for one individual only. Our professional fees are different from, and additional to, any disbursements paid to third parties. Some third parties may charge VAT on their costs.

Clear from day one

We explain our charges at the outset and keep them transparent for the life of your matter.

Priced for your case

Fees reflect the complexity of the work and the seniority of the solicitor handling it.

Fees vs disbursements

Professional fees are separate from third-party costs such as Home Office, court or Land Registry fees.

Instalments available

Subject to agreement, we may offer instalment plans so you do not have to pay everything at once.

What our immigration service involves

Our agreed fee covers work relating to your matter, including:

  • Taking initial instructions
  • Advice on the documents and information needed for your application
  • Checking supporting documents for the application or appeal
  • Preparing the necessary application or appeal forms
  • Preparing representations in support of your application
  • Sending the application, representations and evidence to the Home Office
  • Representing you at tribunal hearings and appeals
  • All communication with the Home Office and other agencies until a written decision is received

Time estimate

It is difficult to say how long the Home Office will take to decide your matter — it depends on the case and the caseworker. As a rough guide, most straightforward cases take between 3 and 6 months, and more complicated cases may take between 6 and 24 months.

We will not issue any refund if you withdraw your instructions.

Quoted prices do not include money due to third parties such as the Immigration Health Surcharge, Home Office fees or barristers’ fees. You are responsible for those payments. Home Office fees vary by application type and may change at any time.
